A Family Affair
Libby Stone, of Mesa, Arizona, was just giggly as she walked through the airport on her way to the 2007 Mission Possible International Conference. It was the first time she hadn’t been asked by someone if she had to buy two seats for herself on an airplane. “I didn’t even have to ask for an extension on the safety belts!” she says. Libby has lost 70 pounds since December, making her the third place winner in Relìv’s “Tons of Fun” Promotion. The recognition was a victory, made even more sweet because Libby has brought her husband, Daniel, and 16-year-old daughter, Amber, along for the weight-loss ride. Together, the family has lost more than 200 pounds and 150 inches. Relìv came to the Stone family at the best possible time. Libby, who suffered from depression and fibromyalgia, also had an ovarian disease that caused weight gain. She was almost 400 pounds when she started on Relìv’s basic nutrition. With that alone, she lost 101 pounds and was ready to lose even more with Slimplicity. “I just knew we had to beat this and we are doing it,” she says. “I have so much empathy and compassion for those who fight obesity. It’s my desire to help as many people as I can.”
